Tithes and Offering

At Nations Church, we understand that tithing isn’t just a good idea, or a religious idea: it is a powerful principle of the Kingdom. The word ‘tithe’ comes from the Hebrew word ‘ma’aser’ meaning ‘a tenth’. In a practical sense, tithing means giving one tenth of all our wages, increase, or profits. Contrary to what many people believe, tithing isn’t just an ‘Old Testament’ principle, as Jesus himself warned us not to neglect tithing (Matt 23.23). It has never been a practise rooted in Jewish law, but rather in honouring the Lord and recognizing that our wealth comes from Him alone.

At every service, we give an opportunity for the congregation to tithe. You can also give online today:

Building our Future

We are a generational church who believes that what we do and give now will be a platform for the next generation to stand firmly on. This is why we dedicate one Sunday every year to collectively sow financially into the future of our church. We call this Sunday “Building our Future”.

We welcome you to contribute to our Building our Future fund at any point during the year.
You can contribute to Building our Future, or fulfil a pledge at any of our service by filling out a “Building our Future envelope”. Simply insert your cash, cheque or credit card slip. These envelopes are available at the Connection Lounge on a Sunday, as well as during our regular tithes and offerings at any service.
